Need to ''buy'' a steam game to sell cs:go stuff on steam
At which point does a free game counts as bought. I remember my first game was apb and it counted as bought and allowed me the steam features you unlocked after you buy your first game. Now I need to buy a new game to be able to sell cs go cases and later on buy something with it. Does free games still count as bought? Do you have to play them for a certain ammount of time?

It's not just that, the purchase can't be too old or too recent.
Your old purchase just got a year old, that's why it won't count anymore.

And it's purchases that count, not bought games. You can for example purchase cs:go keys from the game and it counts.
If it shows up here and it's between 30 and 365 days old then it should count: https://store.steampowered.com/account/history/

It seems I can't buy skins. Do only cs:go keys still work as cs:go buys.

If you can buy it counts, if you can't then it is on the market which means it doesn't.
Can't you buy soundtracks or something also? Anything that is on the main menu that doesn't open the market in the web browser should work.

I Read the steam page description and it says ''the whole community market features are restricted'' until ''The purchase of wallet funds, games, DLCs and software meet this requirement. Activating a Steam Wallet Code or Gift Card on your account to add funds to your Steam Wallet also meet this requirement. Retail CD key activation and gift purchases do not satisfy this requirement.''

Yes? This is accurate? Did I say something wrong?

Does the game have to send you to the buying window and give you a bill to count as bought? (I guess it would make sense.)

No you didn't was just asking if other stuff was buyable in cs but I guess the answer is no

Like I said, if you can buy it then it counts.

Any way you can spend money on steam right now will count. You can't spend it and it won't work.

You can even just add money to your wallet and that will count. Then you can save it to the market.
