My download keeps stopping
I was trying to download a game, a game which I already played multiple times, and when I try to install it's normal until the download speed just goes to 0 bp/s. I pause it and restart it and it stops in the same moment, around 790MB. I tried to change the download region, limit speed, clearing cache download and restarting the whole download. Now it stops earlier, does anyone have a fix? Btw my connection is always on about 4Mb/s

What region did you change to?
Clear your download cache. It'll help!

1. Click on View at the top left corner of your Steam window.
2. Click on Settings in the drop-down menu.
3. In the Settings window, select Downloads at the middle left.
4. Once you are at the Downloads tab, click on Clear Download Cache. Remember that you'll have to log-in again once Steam finishes clearing the cache and restarts itself.

Yeah man I've done that a couple of times and it didn't work out for me

I have spent the last 2 days trying every fix imaginable. I have read every forum out there and none of it worked for me.

But im here with my solution.

Add a new user account on your computer and download it there...yup its that simple.

By creating a new user account on your computer youre basically starting up a new computer from scratch. Your windows operating system is designed to create the account the way they were originally intended. The account will have been untampered with by downloads or programs and games because you havent run anything on it. All your games and programs will still be available to you. Just open steam and download.

Hope this works for you like it did me.
