Paying through PayPal on Steam without a credit or debit card
Just got my own personal bank account. I was wondering, how do I use PayPal as a payment method without credit or debit card?

I linked and confirmed my bank account to PayPal already. Can I pay directly from my bank account throw Steam's PayPal method? Or do I have to add funds to my PayPal from my bank account first (ughh 0.50 fee).

From my understanding most people have issues trying to pay through paypal without a credit card. You can always try worst comes to worst it won't work.

Never had a credit card in my entire life and never had any issues paying with PayPal.
Just charge your PayPal account and pay with that.
If you have Direct Debit capability on your bank account, you don't even need to do that.
Just pay with PayPal then and they'll charge your bank account.

Same here, I have no problem using PayPal and direct bank transfer on Steam. Just set your bank as the default payment method and chekout using PayPal as normal.

So you're saying to top up my PayPal Wallet? But when I tried logging in to my PayPal through Steam they always ask for my credit/debit card info.

On the PayPal page, you can tie your bank account to your PayPal account. The availability of his function ay vary by country though. Ask PayPal support if you're unsure.

Yes I did that already... I already confirmed the bank account and its tied to my PayPal. Problem is how do I "let" paypal use my bank account instead of asking for my debit or credit as if I had no existing source of money yet.

As a German customer, when I went to pay for something (I.e. a Steam purchase) with PayPal, I had my bank account as an available payment method. I already told you that this varies by country and that you may take that matter to the PayPal support.

Normally as long as your PayPal account is linked to a bank account (checking or what some call a current account) and "verified" (by identifying amount of 2 small transactions), that bank account should automatically be your default payment method. By default PayPal will automatically take from that account only what it needs for PayPal sent money or purchases. That might not work for a "savings" account.

If you also have other linked payment methods (credit card, etc.) there would be a drop down list to select another payment method if you want to, when you check out for a purchase at PayPal. But that list would not appear if you only have 1 linked payment method.

I have used PayPal for well over 10 years for purchases or sending money and my PayPal balance has always been $0.00 (never any need to manually transfer money).

Or you can just buy CSGO Keys from websites that accept paypal and sell them on The market, i have been using this method for a long time and it's pretty good reminder that you would prop get 0,50 cents token out bc of the fees and you can only go like 2.5$ 5$ 7.5$ 10$ and so on.
