I was recently just checking my bank transactions and I came across a charge for £1 I know it isn't much but I didn't spend any money on the 6th of March of which it is dated to and it is tagged with Luxembourg. Has anyone had anything similar or know what I should do ,I found a couple websites saying it was part of a scam and that I had entered details into a fake steam site but they were dated to a few years ago and I only buy steam games of the actual steam software on my computer and I don't use my card online apart from once on Amazon (recently). Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks

That's what the transaction is tagged with but if it is actually steam why would they take a pound out of my account without telling me and it is also not in my steam transaction log

then chargeback tell your bank not to accept transactions from that domain anymore if you're 100% certain it's not steam. if there's any possibility it is, then go to help.steampowered.com and make an inquiry.

Anything you buy from Steam using your credit card will show up this way. If you're for sure you didn't buy anything yesterday, it's possible someone has your card details.

However, a 1 pound/dollar/unit is more commonly associated with verification. Did you add a new payment method? Have you bought anything in the past week? These verification charges are basically Steam's way of "pinging" your bank to see if you have a working and functional card. All online retailers do this. The charge will be returned to your bank in a few days
