HOW DO I REINSTALL STEAM ON PC?
Haven't used steam for a long while. Now I want to but I get this error message when I hit "Play:" FAILED TO START GAME (MISSING EXECUTABLES. So I thought I'd reinstall Steam so all the files would be there. Is this what I should do, and if so, HOW do I do it?

The more likely culprit is an overly aggressive anti-virus scanner.

Exclude your Steam folders and then verify the game's cache.

Antivirus could be blocking the file as said, Windows Defender or another AV

Verify the cache of the game in question, reinstalling Steam has nothing to do with a game's missing .EXE, you verify the game cache to recover the exe, or uninstall and reinstall the game.

You can redownload the program there and put it in the same install location. That should install all the files you need.
