PS4 Controller, Steam Controller Icons

Hey everyone!

So I`m playing For Honor! with my dualshock 4 Darth vader edition, and when I play the game it shows the Steam controller icons and controls too. Only once when I launched the game it showed the PS buttons but it`s the only time that happens.
Can anyone helpo me with this?
I was on windows 7 but upgraded to windows 10 pro this morning.

ps4 dont work on windows 10

Well, yes it does work. All my four friends got windows 10 and in their game they see the ps4 icons. And as I mention earlier, It did happend to me once where I got the PS icons in my game but it only happend once.

I have windows 10 and i play with the ps4 controller no problem always showed me the right commands.

Yay for actually finding a solution to this. given how the game has built in support for PS4 controllers it should work just as good as before. minus the lightbar.

1. go into big picture mode and turn off PS4 controller support

2. unplug and plug your controller back in. so steam can see it's a generic controller

3. launch For Honor, it should now be working like normal with PS4 prompts and all!
