can not find a game i used to play called war inc

i believe the game was called " war inc " also might be known as war incorperated as i think that was the origonal name for the game when it was released for windows 95 or 98 . it was free to play on here and i just was trying to locate it to download and play but wasnt able to find it .

just incase im wrong on name , the game was a first person shooter that was kinda like team fortrce but more themed like battle field serie . you played on teams and you could chose at first what level as in map you played , to try and discribe couple levels or maps ( 1 was kind like ruins where you was in a multi level building with some tall grassy areas in lower middle and some stuff to hide behind with the outer area having a walk path with places along the walls on outer edge to hide in and along inner edge there was colums to hid behind along with it open to the inside . kinda like the colosium in italy . another map was i believe jungle with some buildings in places and then another was a underground frozen map that was almost like a giant B where you had 2 sides and several cross over hallways to go to the other side .

you could also earn credits / money in game to put towards purchase of armour and different guns to rent for a period of time or for more and even real cash you could buy them to keep on your account .

i believe i have found the game , but when i click the link to get it off softonic to download the game client it takes me back here to steam . how ever steam does not have the game that i have been able to find , possibly that the game has been killed off by the developer or steam no longer hosting the client . i have how ever found it via another site since it was a free to play game i found it on fileplanet and soon as its downloaded im going to try the client and see if its still active . if anyone has any info on what happened to this game please let me know in the comments . thanks in advance and please keep it simple and no bad mouthing the game if you didnt like it . at times i didnt like it as well but i played the game when it was out for early versions of windows when it was released in 97 .

wow thats what i figured happened to the game is it was shut down due to the unfair gameplay . there was times i had people from half way accross the map shooting me with a sniper rifle that in no way could have made the shot happen with out cheating . thanks
