Max steam level?

I keep wondering what is the highest steam level possible? I saw people with level 1200+, that should be millions of dollars spent so what is the limit? if there is no limit there should be one to max your steam account, with special features like golden profile and stuff...

Like everyone said there is no limit, just depends how much money you want to pump into the account. If you want to get technical about it there is a sorta limit if you get every game level 5 badge and foil, but there is winter/summer sales that allow some people to pump thousands of $ into levels.

Actually, there is a limit. Once you have all the badges and all the games on Steam there are, you cant climb higher. At least for a day as new games get released often.
