I just bought Dead by Daylight and every time I launch it gives me this error:

That means that your Graphic Card does not support DirectX 11.
Which Graphic Card do you have? If you only have the i5 processor with the integrated Intel HD graphic, then that is not enough to run Dead By Daylight.
You need a dedicated modern GPU to run that game.

AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5000 Series <----------- This is my video card.

Don't even bother trying to play this game with an Intel videochip, as those are way to slow to run the game properly.

What exact model of the Radeon HD 5000 series do you have?

Yeah, that is just the Intel HD graphic chip on your I5 CPU. That is WAY too weak to play a game like Dead By Daylight.
If you bought it on Steam use the refund function and get your money back.

The AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5000 Series has no DX 11 support. So same thing, use the refund system.

That is definitely not going to work. You can get a refund of the game if you bought it in the last 2 weeks.

Not entirely true. Some do, some don't. That's why i was asking for the specific model.

I am having the same problem and want to know if you found a fix. I have played dead by daylight fine for about a year and now it is telling me i don't have DX 11. my card is a Radeon RX 580 btw
