Nvidia 4GB card uses only 2GB!

Hello there I have a GTX 850M 4GB but whenever i play games i see i only use 2GB I already tried to look in the BIOS menu but did not find anything. And now im suffering plss help me
if you know how to fix this thanks alot
-Windows 10 pro
-x64-Processor / 64 Bits
-I have to 2 graphic cards
-Intel (R) Core(TM) I7-4710MQ CPU @2.50GHz 2.49GHz

No, you don't. There is no Geforce 850M with 8GB.
It can have up to 4GB RAM, it seems your laptop shipped it with just 2GB RAM.
Not that it really matters as games using more than 2GB videoRAM will be severely limited by how slow the videocard actually is.

first off, most games won't use more than 2gb, secondly, my 860m only has 6gb and it's the top tier for that card, i doubt any 850m can have 8gb? show your dxdiag?

It might have 2 GB dedicated and additional 2GB can be taken from your system RAM.
To say the truth I think the card is a bit weak for using 4GB memory, there is not enough shaders and performance in general to utilize 4GB.

Well i dont think so if i play ultra on rainbow six siege it says it is too weak to render that but i still get 60FPS so i dont think so maybe i need to edit it with a special program?

no, there's no editing it. your card itself isn't strong enough generally. rainbow six siege wants your actual card to be gtx 460 or above in performance, 850m is weaker than 460.

If the game only needs to store 2GB, it's not going to load up crap just to get your memory use up to 4GB. You need to look for stutters and (un)loading activity of textures and such when the memory use reaches 2147483648 bytes to see if it's actually limited at 2GB.

Lets take a step back. You say you're suffering, but then it's all about how you can play on ultra, it's running 60 FPS, and it's all fine.

Forget the memory for a second, what's the problem you're trying to fix?
