It can have up to 4GB RAM, it seems your laptop shipped it with just 2GB RAM.
Not that it really matters as games using more than 2GB videoRAM will be severely limited by how slow the videocard actually is.
To say the truth I think the card is a bit weak for using 4GB memory, there is not enough shaders and performance in general to utilize 4GB.
