My moniter wont display fullscreen
I have a moniter hooked up to a laptop, and for some reason, it can not play games on fullscreen. The laptop displays it fine, but the moniter for some reason can not display full screen games. Any idead as to why this is, and if possible, how to fix this? (edit) I just realised that it might be helpful to know that I used the moniter for years until my pc tower stopped working, only after I hooked up the moniter to my laptop did fullscreen stop working.

Use the native resolution of that monitor.

Google the monitor (model no., etc)
Ok, so I tried the native resolution, thing, and the game I was trying to play just crashed when I tried to launch it.
maybe you can change some setting on your driver software
what is the laptop and this monitor resolutions, respectively. Most laptops are not going to run very high res... the video cards in them are not built for it. You may be better off scaling to the normal laptop res.

update: I fixed the problem by going into the intel graphics option and changing the display setting to scale to full screen and now everything works fine. Thank you all for all the help and suggestions.
