What happen if i change my download region?

I live in turkey at the moment and i want to buy game gifts but it will be redeemed only im my region... Is changing my download region or my location will help?

I've never try doing that but if it doesnt take much time and its not big problem for you it may actually help.

The Download region only impacts your downloads.You can set you download region to anything.

It doesn't change anything with regards to regional restrictions. Otherwise everyone would just change their download region to Russia to buy games.

As a question, was your steam account originally created in the or somewhere else?

note that if you say lived in the USA before, then moved to Turkey, in tehory your store would remain in the USA as the home region even when moving to Turkey. You'd also be able to switch between regions.

Ok I think I misinterpreted your OP. The only way to change yoru region is to have been in that region before at some point in the past. This doesn't sound like the it is in your case. You're stuck using the Turkey store for now.

Turkeys pricing is genearlly favorable for you, except for AAA titiles

You will have better luck on pricing if you go outside of Steam for such AAA titles. Please go to only reputable resellers like Humble Bundle, Green Man Gaming, or such.
