XLR Mic Not Working on Steam
I'm running Windows 10, and I'm using an XLR (Audio Technica AT2020) mic through a USB (Focusrite 2i2) amp running into my computer. My mic works in other applications, just not Steam. How do I fix this?

Same problem with AKAI EIE Pro 24bit/ 96Khz interface, and AKG HSC171 Headset

My problems started around the same time as this OP posted his topic (in Blackwake, my mic was working up until a Steam update around this time frame) and it still doesn't work, this time with Deceit.

Steam does not pick up microphone activity in settings -> voice and no game using Steamworks voice can transmit.

Did you ever find a fix to this? I am having the same issue with the TLM 102 mic.

I contacted focusrite support and they helped me fix my issue. Windows was assigning the old driver.

I reassigned the drivers they gave me. I was using a 2013 driver before.
