Why can't I see my TF2 items?

I launched Team Fortress 2 and opened my inventory, All my items were ther but their image won't load, all my items have the loading tf2 logo but they never load. How do I fix this?

Hm, seems like something's wrong with your game's cache.

Try verifying the integrity of your game's cache:
Open Steam -> Library -> Right-click Team Fortress 2 -> Properties -> Local Files -> "Verify integrity of game files"

Do you have any custom HUDs or anything like that installed? Might mess with item icons.

Try running TF2 as administrator. Also make sure your anti-virus isn't blocking TF2 (aka hl2.exe).
