Remove second user on pc
I have no idea if this is even possible or has been asked (and thus answered) already. I couldn't find it...

I allowed my friend to log in on her Steam account on my pc (so in other words I used the 'change user...' option) to help her out with Stardew Valley. But now our game accounts are linked, so I can see her save file and she can see mine (even though she is no longer logged in on my pc).

Can I undo this? Somehow remove the permission and with that unlink our save games? I know she won't start up my save game I just find it weird that she can see my save games from her laptop even though I never logged in on her laptop.

Sorry if this doesn't make sense in any way... I'm confused myself and have no knowledge of computers what so ever.

Go to your settings>Family, See if it is enabled there. Could be the reason for it.

No that's not it... I checked and family view is disabled.
If I go to 'manage other computers' it says: No computer has been authorized for Family Library Sharing yet.

Your accounts aren't linked. Steam downloaded the save file for her game on your Windows user account, but that's really it. Simply delete her save file and forget about it.

okay but how does that explain that she can see my save files on her laptop even though I never logged in on her laptop (or is that a stupid question)

For the very same reason. The rest is the same as well: That was a one-time action and she can ignore or delete the save.

Oh okay now I get it. Thanks so much.
Mystery solved ^^
