Download Issues
Hi everyone,
so...here is my problem:
For the last couple of months Steam has started behaving erratically.. It all started with the "Content Server Unreachable" problem, after weeks of trying out every possible solution I finally wiped my pc and reinstalled windows. Now I've got a different kind of issue (possibly related)...
Some of the games (weirdly not all of them) will start their download, get to 99% then suddenly stop just shy of completing, when I check for local game files on these games I find the installation folder empty, in fact when I start to download that final 1% the blue download bar starts to climb but the green disk bar stays idle, then the blue bar drops after a couple of seconds and the download gets back into queue.
I don't know what's going on. I doubt it has something to do with disk write permissions since some of the games were actually downloaded...
If someone can help it woul be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Yep, but I've disabled their firewall and now I can download the games (prior to disabling it I got the "Content Server Unreachable" error)

there is a theme about last week, the Italians, who use Vodafone, presumably from the same area, have the problem, and it can be solved by disabling the new firewall settings (but it seems that you have found this topic) :steamhappy:
