Can't Add Phone Number

Add a phone number to your account
Add a phone number to feedtheasylum's account
Add an SMS capable phone to your Steam account so that you can ask Steam to text you a code to regain access if you can't log in. This will help you recover your account if it is compromised, or if you've lost your password, lost access to your email account, or lost your Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator.
International format (example):


On the 'Internatial format section' there is a blank field and it won't let me type into it or do anything, so I click next and it comes up with 'Phone number is invalid' and I can't do anything from then on.

I've tried this both on the website and my actual Steam client on my PC, neither work.

just had the same problem go through steam on the desktop>top right>account details>help at the bottom of the page>support>my account> phone number. then you be able to type

Yeah thanks. I did it about an hour ago myself on the actual phone instead. It's better to just do it through the Mobile app and click on Steam Guard, -> Set up Authenticator etc.
