Installing generic drivers for better fps.
I was wondering would it be safe to instal latest version of Intel generic drivers on my laptop (Aspire ES1 512) since ones manufacturer (Acer) provides are severely outdated. I m trying to improve my frame rate in video game (Team Fortress 2). Does anyone know would installing generic Intel drivers break my laptop or not? Thanks.

Specs:

You can install the one from Intel's site with no breaking. You might want to see about getting a better PC down the road however.

Yea, worst case senario it just doesn't work and then you uninstall the intel driver and go back to the way it was.

One more thing, I got this message before doing final step of installation. Is this normal, should I proceed?

Everything is running fine (including steam games) right now since it did not let me change drivers.
Well then as it says, you simply picked the wrong driver.
