Yes it will, just download steam and connect to your account all your progress will normally be on your steam account don't be afraid :-)
not every game has pc/mac/linux version but if it has, then you're in luck...

Always check the Steam Store (or other official pages for Games)
There is an easily visible OS icon to show what the Game supports.
Also there is the System Requirements near the bottom of the page, just above where any user reviews start.

Your Steam profile isn't attached to any single machine. When you install Steam on your new PC, log into your account and all your games will be accessible on the new PC for free re-download. Just be warned, you might lose your saved settings and possibly even some progress. How much is stored online really depends on the game in question.

But Games displayed or allowed to install will be OS dependent if a Game only supports a certain OS (like WinOS only for example) then it will of course stay on your Steam Account, but availability to install/play will depend on your active OS.

The only game I know of that has separate Mac and Windows purchases is Call of Duty: Black Ops. Besides that, I know of no games that won't transfer to Windows/Mac/Linux so long as you're using a platform that supports the game.

Also, some Steam Cloud saves may not properly transfer over between platforms. However, this tends to be an oversight by the developers/porters, rather than anything directly caused by switching platforms.

Short story is

If the games you own have a Windows version as well, you'll be good to go.
If not, then you may have to purchase the Windows version of the game separately.

Some games will have both OS versions available when you buy one, some do not.
