Do phone emojis work on steam?

Oh you can actually see them? If i message friends on Steam can they see them?

on the client only 3 of them show up.

chorme is a no go also.

So why do some some show up and others don't?

I thought they wouldn't work to make you have to buy emotes in the steam market.

they dont show up the way you think.

they are only outlines of them. no color to them. just like the basic emoticons steam has.

im guessing it has to do with the chromium based browser.

Oh. What is that QR code you are sending? Is that an emote I can't see? I wish emojis would work because steam doesn't have emojis you can buy on the market that are simple like the laughing or winking face. I feel they don't make the emojis show to make you buy them in market.

Well hopefully this thread doesnt get deleted and ill see what the emonies look like when im on pc.

Just one more thing. If my friend is also on a phone, will they then see the emojis?

the qr code links to a secret website the devs used for their game.

there are basic emoticons on steam. i think after you purchase a few or craft to earn them, the basic ones get pushed out. i dont see those in my list anymore.

im not sure about your friend seeing them. i cant get the app to load the discussions right now.
