Steam gift scam

"pretty much in a nutshell, it sounds like you was scammed by the old trick of trade and chargeback steam. which means he bpught the game, then traded it to you, then called his credit card company or paypay and tld them to stop the trasnaction. the way steam support is right now dont hold your breath about getting anything backm your liable to turn blue. sorry just being honest cause steam sup[port is 95% non exsistant"

Did the person trade it to you? Gifts aren't tradable until 30 days after purchase, to help prevent chargeback scams.

He went first and sent it to me as a gift. So i added to gift library and gave him my csgo skin. A day later it wasn't there...

Then that was your mistake. He gave you the game as a free gift, and you gave away your skin as a free gift. It wasn't a trade. You were even warned about it.

I did'nt even know of this scam before this happened... looked it up an hour ago. Why is man evil.

if he did a chargeback it would have said, "the gift has been revoked and is no longer available to play unless you purchase a new copy."

this is not the case here.

it is exacty as you stated, "The sender has either restored the gift to their inventory or sent it to someone else."

he cancelled the trade on you.
