steam setup: destination folder must be empty
hi i am having trouble with steam setup after an uninstall, when i try to install steam there is a pop up that comes up saying the destination folder must be empty but even when i empty the destination folder it still pops up does anyone know how to fix it

Are you installing Steam in the same location it was previously installed? Move everything out of the Steam folder, delete the Steam folder itself, then install. Finally move the files/folders back.
