Renting game servers?

So I'm very interested in renting A game server for my friends and I for games like Conan exiles and Ark but I have absolute 0 knowledge about this stuff.

As a result I'm just wondering if anyone knows any server rentals that can provide;

Switching to a new game if we get bored, (or do I just have to rent a completely new server for every game?) I saw multiplay game servers offers this, are they the only one?

I'm wondering if anyone offers a sort of "save state" of server data in case we want to switch BACK to another game and can just load our old save so we don't have to start new? Or Should I expect to lose everything if I stop renting or switch games?


Does the steam community have any recommendations of good server providers since I'm not sure where to start.

Edit; I'm in Canada if that makes a difference for locations and such
