taskkill /f /im steam.exe

del /q "C:Program Files (x86)Steamappcache*"

rmdir /s /q "C:Program Files (x86)Steamappcache"

🧨 Step

1: Restart the PC in Safe ModeThis ensures that no Steam processes will start automatically.

1. Press , type and hit Enter

2. Go to the System Configuration tab

3. Check the Safe Boot option → choose Network

4. Click OK and restart the computer

After restarting in Safe Mode:

rmdir /s /q "C:Program Files (x86)Steamappcache"

This ensures that no Steam processes will start automatically.

5. Press , type and hit Enter

6. Go to the System Configuration tab7. Uncheck the Safe Boot option

8. Click OK and restart the computer

After restarting without Safe Mode:
