No email of verification codes
I'm trying to log into my steam account on a new computer and I'm told to enter a verification code just sent to my email to allow this. However, I do not receive an email (and yes, it is correct in my profile and nothing in spam folders etc).
Steam support still haven't come back to me despite raising a ticket days ago and I'm wondering if anyone has any other ideas how to either force this email code to be sent, or if there is any way to bypass this stage of the log in to access on a new computer at all?
Any thoughts welcome.

Why don't you enable the Authenticator instead ?

Steam Guard: How to set up a Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator

Nice idea, but to set that up you also need to enter the verification code sent (alledgedly) to your email. Which, as per the above, isn't happening with this prompt either.

Contact your mail provider. As of lately, several people report email problems, that means that (again) mail providers block Steam's mails.

Thanks, I'll investigate with my email provider.

Well, they claim not, and they would never block any incoming emails. Any other ideas?

Well, you can go to the support page and "reclaim" your account changing the contact mail to something else.

I'm having the same problem and follwing these discussions , many advise that the email provider is obstructing steam emails. Mine is BT ? It appears a lot of people are saying to change email to gmail is the answer to not receiving the verification code. Having said this I did get an email code verification from steam via BT but only after many attempts. Unfortunately I could only use it once on my main computer not on the one I have just bulit, so I'm still trying. Good luck in breaking through the the eternal loop, I'll probably try gmail at some point at the risk of having my account shut down by steam guard.
