Low Draw Distance In EVERY Game
About 2 weeks ago, I started to have a new problem with almost every single game that I played. And that was that objects, shadows and other details wouldn't render until I was a certain distance away from them. It has made every game unplayable and I have searched for hours upon hours for a fix but there is none that I have found and all of the solutions I have come upon don't work either. And you might think that you could just fix it by turning up the lod scale in a game's settings or making sure all settings that apply to draw distance are maxed out, but none of those work. I have messed around with various in game settings, switched settings around in nvidia control panel, swapped gpu with another to see if it was a gpu problem which it wasn't, made sure drivers were up to date, reverted to old drivers and back again, made sure i had the latest directx. If you have had any experience with this problem or have anything that I have not already listed then please help me out, at this point everything is unplayable.

i5 6600k
GeForce GTX 1070

I built my Pc in November and had this problem and thought nothing of it until I started using it again lately. I've been spending a month trying to get to the bottom of it. Did you ever fix it?

I heard someone saying they fixed it by replacing their PSU. So try testing someone else's PSU that doesn't have that problem and see if the problem still persists. Do post the results here so everyone can see it.

Did you fix this problem? Oh please... let me know. I have this issue with Ryzen 7 2700x & RTX 2060 with Gigabyte g750h PSU(750w).

I found out that this isn't actually an issue. Apparently it's a DirectX update or some ♥♥♥♥ that modified the render distance. I learned how to live with it and to be honest I don't notice anything from it anymore.

I have since upgraded from my 1070 to a 3080, and have a completely new system. I think that this is something that has always been apart of graphical rendering, and I only started to notice it at a specific time, and obviously couldn't easily unsee it. It is either a limitation on the graphical engines games use or the graphics card itself. To be honest, 5-6 years later I don't really notice it anymore. You honestly just kinda gotta get used to it. It could also be caused by software from NVIDIA such as Geforce experience or the control panel.

Do you guys still have this problem? It's driving me insane because my new PC was working fine for 8 months then this started to occur, heres a vid I uploaded showing it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wx-gajUsIHs

Whats crazy is that this started to happen to my old PC after testing as well, which never had this issue (7 year old PC), thinking it could electricity or something.
