Also, the version of AoE2 on Steam is NOT the old CD version, it's a new HD remake.
you have to purchase it on steam to have it as a steam game.
It wasn't purchased on steam ... I have it on disk but the old retail copy has no cd key
COuld uyou please post a link to that store page because I have not seen Age of Empires I anywhere on STeam, Just 2 and 3.

Not necessarily a question directly to Hotsauce, but is there any benefit to adding games to Steam in this way? I recently dusted off my old Quake and Doom II CDs..
