Steam Broadcast - Sound Issue

For some reason when I broadcast my viewer(s) can only hear sound when I have "Record audio from all applications on this machine" checked. However I do not want that since I use Discord aswell, and I don't want that recorded through steam since then they hear themselves. Any fix for this? No reason why steam isn't picking up the game like it should. Worked fine a while back. Running on Windows 10.

Same exact problem. Some games it works and other games it doesn't work. I tried uninstalling and disabling all other sound devices other than my default one (since other help forums say Steam tries to broadcast to the default device) and then I lost sound on ALL games when I broadcasted. Re-enabled devices (from control panel, but kept them disabled in my sound settings) and sound returned to the games that previously broadcasted sounds. No change on other ones that don't.

Running on Windows 10. Using a Sound Blaster Audigy FX card. NOT using a USB headset. My headset is plugged in directly to my sound card. Games like Dead By Daylight broadcast sounds. Resident Evil 7 does not.

Would really love an official response about this.

when i watch broadcasts i can hear no sound, and when broadcasting my viewers also cannot hear any sound, even when the "Record audio from all applications on this machine" is checked....
