Actually the games provided by this half-life pack are provided by another pack that i have later bought.
This will remove it from your library and your games list.
BUT , it can be restored the same way any time you want in the future.
You can also buy it anew if you want but if you do you will get the same serial key assigned as before.
One with the list of games i have purchased (the pack doesn't appear here);
One with the list of games i have registered with cd-key. The pack appears here but i didn't see any option for unregistering it.
Doesn't this terminate my licence for the games?
No. Once activated the game is forever bound to that account. As long as you have the login data for that account you can forever download and play that game.
After activation the retail case is basically just a piece of plastic with no use except to display on a shelf maybe.
Why would it?
Really, the physical boxes for Steam-games are just worthless trinkets. The only thing you shouldn't loose, if possible, is the sheet with the key -- simply because Steam support considers such "physical keys" to be high-value proof of account ownership.
You cannot revoke the key to use on another account or give to another user etc etc.
