"The operation was canceled by the user" Please HELP!

3 of the games in my library I am not able to access, the launcher pops up for all three but then I get a notification saying in bolded red letters

Install Error
The operation was cancelled by the user

The 3 games I have tried out so far that all suffer from the same problem are all online games, and they are as follows (if it matters)

Dirty Bomb
Dead By Daylight
Watch_Dogs 2

What is happening???!

Incomplete Installation (55)
This issue can also occur on computers with Avast installed. You will need to configure Avast to ignore Steam itself and all Steam game files. Some users have had to uninstall Avast to resolve the issue.

R.I.P. Probably an Avast issue.
