i have a mic problem in dota 2 game

my mic works perfectly fine while using skype and other apps.. but in dota 2 my mic gives a cracking sound

While the microphone audio isn't flat out cut out; try exiting programs that could use your audio input while Steam is trying to use it.

I don't use an external mic..I meant for the inbuilt mic of a laptop

I'm aware, you already said that in the starting post. I suggested to turn off programs that could use voice chat alongside Steam.

On the robotic voice, ensure your audio enhancements are disabled under Control Panel > Recording > Properties.

yes it does

Hold down [Windows] and [R] -keys

control mmsys.cpl sounds

Press [Enter]

Then open up the [Recording] -tab -> Right mouse click your microphone -> [Properties] -> [Enhancements]

Disable them.
