Yeah, for me its the webserver that's messed up (but then, I don't ever use the client except for starting games). Same thing, though -- Steam prrovides almost no pictures, icons etc. anymore.

Maybe they have a kind of distributed server setup, and their german stuff is messed up.

I do not think, that this problem only effects Vodafone (Kabel Deutschland) customers from Germany. I have seen people from the UK and south america complain about this issue and I have friends who are with Vodafone who do not have this kind of problems.

I think its an issue with select steam webservers and thats why it is not affecting everybody.

Its not effecting me if I use Chrome, for example. If it were a problem with Vodafone I would get this kind of error with ALL browsers and not just with FireFox and the Steam Client.

I did an easy Check. I used my Mobile Stick to login to Steam - and the Problem is NOT present. So there seems to be a Reason performed by my Router provided by KD/Vodafone.

AND: I haven't seen a single Report from ouside from Germany, even if i'm searching ....

Take a look at this thread:
http://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/1354868867718837963/

This person has the same problems and is from the UK. In the thread there is a person from Australia suffering from those problems as well.

Hatte das Problem auch, in den Steameinstellungen den Webbrowsercache leeren hat geholfen. Allerdings muss ich das jetzt jedesmal machen wenn ich steam neustarte sonst lädt der shop nicht.

Didn't changed anything. Mobile Stick is working, Cable is not. Both provided by VF, so i'm quiet sure, the Problem can't be caused only by a Browser Plugin.

Maybe that's the case for you. For me its only the Steam Client and FireFox. Chrome is working fine. A router or provider issue would also affect chrome

I'm on Vodafone Kabel Deutschland and no Browser on my PC will display the Store correctly. I tried Chrome, FF, Edge, IE. Only the mobile page works on my phone using wifi, if I switch to desktop mode I get the same problem.

Got the issue too, using Virgin Media internet both it and I are from England.

Pictures not loading, all sorts of pictures, profile picture, link buttons, game preview / main pictures, steam store pictures, so on.

I don't view Steam through a browser, but through its own "app" or whatever it is.
Even the text buttons such as Edit and Delete don't load, but "Quote this reply" does.

Only had the problem from two days ago.

Very strange, if I load the Store, the Community, Profiles via Steam Overlay, it works fine. Only the Steam Client isn't functional.

I can confirm this. Also, User-Agent Switcher for Chrome set to something like Windows Phone 8 makes the Store work for me again in Chrome.
