I tried to add my phone number for ranked match making but this is what I got. At first there was an error saying it failed to add my number. So I got furious and just spammed enter. Now I cant play ranked match. I really hate this phone number thing that valve added. Please help

This sounds like an issue on your end with impulse control. Relax wait the week and calmly try again to add your number if it doesn't work don't spam it.

there have been issues with some steam services for around 13 hours for a lot of users. some areas affected are; adding phone numbers, trading and not receiving mobile sms codes.

The error message might have been erroneous and added the phone number anyway. That has happened before.
