It has to be some kind of bug. This has been going on for some time but I haven't seen Steam even acknowledge that there is a problem. I get an email verification banner every time I log in even if i just verified earlier that day.

I'm having trouble finding where I can tell them it sucks, just so they'll know.
Is there such a place?
no clue if you find out let me know im sure there are a few things i can think of to tell them too

I have the same problem. I just verified my email address with Steam again, for maybe the 20th time, even though my email address has been the same for over 12 years with Steam. I complained that this was a bit irritating and was told to just verify again, and it would not happen for a year or more. Well, it just started up again after just a couple months. Why does Steam, unlike any other online company, constantly ask for verification?

Generally, if you're receiving these more than once every 9 months to a year, Steam is detecting that some or all of its emails aren't going through. Make sure to whitelist all Steam addresses and contact your email provider to see if they are blocking anything.

Steam rarely contacts me, but when they do, it gets through (recently purchased games, the verification emails, etc). The email address has been the same for over 12 years. It always verifies. I have been told many things by people here, including that I have an unusual email address (Network Solutions is not that unusual). I was told last time that if I verified again, it would be at least a year before they requested it again. That was not true. It was only about 3 months. My question is what is the purpose? No other online company ever asks me to verify my email address. No one has ever given me a reasonable explanation of why this is Steam's policy.

same problem, really annoying now

This is clearly being done every 2 or 3 months for reasons that Steam is not at all clear about. What I have noticed is that friends of mine never verify their email address. They just ignore the green bar at the top. So now that is my new approach to the problem. I won't ever confirm my email again, I'll just ignore the request.

same, i just click the lil x and dont worry about it. was just hoping steam had a fix for it cause it is a lil annoying.

Yeah, now because they keep doing it repeatedly every couple months year after year, I will just ignore it. Not sure why they would want to make everyone ignore them due to their constant pestering, but that's what they are doing whether they know it or not.
