Cannot Install Steam

Hi i just format my pc and i download steam but i cannot install it... i try run as adminstrator but still cannot nothing pop up.....and now it has been almost a week still cannot install...
any suggestion?

One thing I would try, if you have not done this already, is downloading the latest installer from the 'Install Steam' link at the top of this page. Once downloaded, try launching and see if anything changes.

i have try this its not working and i think maybe my windows problem because i also cannot install chrome....

steam need connection to internet, perhaps your firewall blocked it

i also hv try that turn off firewall and UAC...nothing pop up.. when i click at the steam installer nothing happen... i also have try download the installer multiple times... i think maybe i need to downgrade back to windows 7 now...hurmm

You can install other programs or games?

actually i also having same problem with google chrome and several other app

Run steam.exe as an administrator

Though it sounds like you dont hvae admin righs on your computer. Is it a work/school computer

actually i also having same problem with google chrome and several other app

you blocked install manager or windows installer in firewall?

but at the end it could be everything or nothing, its hard to say from distance.

thanks ... i try this and now my pc cannot boot to windows...just repair n repair.... i think i'm gonna downgrade to windows 7....
