suddenly very slow

Hey all, for the last 3 days my download speed has gotten progressively worse for reasons i can't quite understand.

I used to get a stable 5bm download speed but roughly 3 days ago it started dropping and now i'm struggling to break 1, I have tried changing download locations, adding and removing various speed caps, tested my own wifi (downloads are as fast as ever outside of steam) and my PC hasn't been altered in any way.

I'm in the UK midlands, if anybody can shed any light on the situation or has similar issues please give me a shout.

Try updating internet drivers. I used driver booster 3 for steam which helped me fix some internet issues, but recently i learned there is driver booster 4 but have not tried it yet so i can't confirm if it will work.
