It's hard to dig up old hardware, but if you look at The Division 1080p high settings the gtx970 is peaking at %98-%99 (gtx 970 is better than GTX1050ti).
The 1050ti (1050ti same as gtx960 in dx11) for the price it's worth popping in there.
Your down side is you need more DDR2, if you can't get more ram then you should just forget about upgrading the gpu.
Which gpu do you have now?
i still use a n old core 2 quad Q 9650 oc to 3.6 GHZ
8 gig o ram (ddr 2 )
and a gigabyte windforce 2 GTX 1060 .. glad i bought this GPU
everything runs fine at 1080 P that i have thrown at it ..these old Intel C2Q CPU;s can still work ..but yes i need an i 5 soon and more ram as i have seen a bit of bottlenecking but most games are over 60 FPS in 1080 P as well as some in DSR 1440 P
if ya need to find DDR 2 look at https://starmicroinc.net/
tho i do not know if they ship to your country ..but they do still sell decnect Kingston ddr 2 ram chips cheap ..that overclock nicely
