Mic Not Working in game( cs 1.6 and csgo both)

So my old headphones mic was not working so i bought another headphone. But when i am in game and use microphone it does not work both in cs 1.6 and csgo. When i tried testing it in settings tab(shift +tab>settings>voice) it is working absolutely fine but it only does not work in the games. Help needed asap.
P.s. I don't play any other game so don't ask me to try in another game.

But if i can help, make sure the push to talk keys are identical. Despite Steam being able to pick up rhe sound, check your playback and recording devices in Windows.
