How can i change my Ru/Cis cd key to Global / ROW

I bought a ru game (cod advanced warfare) long ago and just wondering how can i change that to global.
There is a form in the steam support page where i can delete my game from my library.
So my question is what if i delete it through that steam support and then buy a new global key, and then activate that?
Whould that work?
And what would happen with the already activated ru key?

btw i have a language patch so its english for me and i dont need to use vpn becouse they patched it long ago, but i have area restrictions, i can only play it on Ru servers with ru ppl

You have to get steam support to remove the game, they will ask you to confirm you really want it removed. Hiding games does not remove the key, only steam support can do that.

Because ultimately it's "disable the license."

If they made perma-deletion actually permanently delete, then people would have to complain to Support about "I changed my mind".

As a note, don't buy from websites that sell you RU -keys, and don't use VPNs when the SSA clearly forbids the use of them for the intent you did.

Doesn't that only apply if the game has a CD-key for a separate client/service?

I'd imagine you're able to "permanently delete" the Russian license, and just buy/redeem another license. I've bought the same game twice and I have two separate licenses for it for example: http://i.imgur.com/Kc1tAAH.png

Not to mention this person who worked around a language depot by deactivating a license that didn't contain said language depot, and then acquiring one that did.

Point being: license changes; CD-key doesn't. That being said Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare doesn't have any other keys than the activation code on Steam.

So, I would imagine Help Desk -page would be enough for the job. Do correct me if I'm wrong.
