How do I remove my BILLING INFO (Name, Address, Phone Number)?
I bought some games today and accidentally didn't uncheck the box for save my payment info for faster checkout.. I've ALWAYS done this. I forget one time and now when I just bought another game it didn't have my Credit Card info since I deleted it but my NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE, etc. remained under "BILLING INFORMATION."

I DELETED my CC# and info, but why is this still here? HOW DO I REMOVE IT?

remove the payment method associated with the account
I did. That's what I'm saying. I deleted the credit card but the store page saved my contact info on checkout.
It literally says YOU HAVE NO PAYMENT METHODS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS ACCOUNT.
Can I ask why you are worried about this information?

I'm guessing that if you unchecked it THIS time and you no longer have a payment method on file, the next time it will not show.

Maybe because Steam should NOT KNOW his address? Steam a store. You don't give your address to the groceries store, do you?

Why did you necro a 3 year old thread?

These days they need it for tax purposes, even if you aren't paying with a credit card.

Because time is relative.

What "tax purposes"? As far as I know we can't receive money from Steam, we only pay :)

When you buy a game from Steam, Valve has to send VAT or Sales Tax to the appropriate place. They need you address so they know how much to charge and where to send it.

Hmm. I have never received Steam bills to the mail box of my house, always in the e-mail. Anyway, Steam store should not know who I am or where I live just because I buy a video game from it, just as my grocery store doesn't. Next they will want us to use our real names instead of pseudonyms and usernames.

Then don't use Steam. Simple as that.

The law says online purchases must be charged appropriate taxes based on where the purchaser lives. Physical stores are required to charge appropriate taxes based on where they, the store, are located. So yes, Steam and every other online store out there does need to know your address if you are going to buy stuff from them (even digital/virtual stuff).

Your house is not the appropriate place. Your state or your country's Tax office is, and to determine that, they need your address. Your grocery store doesn't need it, because it is in the actual state or country and already knows where to send the tax.

You should remove all your personal info or change it to fictitious, where applicable, from online places. NOBODY online must know who you are if you don't want to. You have HUMAN RIGHTS and the RIGHT TO PRIVACY!
We could take this to the European Court of Human Rights(the Strasbourg Court) but if they force Valve to remove our personal info from their systems,Valve will also ban us from using their services. It's two fold. You take the ban or you accept that Valve will sell your data to advertisers.
