Cant Upload Artwork.

Everytime i go to upload artwork I get this message after clicking "Upload".

Failed to upload the file.

Either steam is having server problems in your area try again later or you may be banned from uploading artwork. Just 2 of the common things that give that error.

Is the artwork a panoramic shot? Anything over I think 7000x#### will fail to upload.

Hmmm nvr uploaded B4 ):

Try again in an hour or so and see if it lets you then. May just be a server problem on steams end. Nothing you can do but wait. I know that might not be the answer you want but that is all you can do.

Restart steam and try again shortly or at a later date.
Are you downloading anything in the background? If so, pause all downloads while uploading.

Just in case people visit this and get crazy, the limit is 8MB currently.

I don't have a solution, but, I have this exact same issue and I want to upload my artwork for the same reason. I have waited about 2 days and it still gives this error. I even tried different images and it gives the same error every time. Also, all the images I try to upload are not even 1 MB so it is not about the size of the file...

There is a possibility that your connection to Steam is being partially blocked when it comes to uploads; at my old workplace I once tried to upload some artwork while on the company wifi, the uploads always failed, but they worked when I did it at home.

For anyone wonder how to fix this still you just have to make the file a jpg, it says it accepts png images but it doesn't.
