black screen when starting game - help?!

Hi!

Having a black screen problem again with the game survarium. About 2 out of three times i am getting a black screen when starting the game and my keyboard is no longer working. Having to reboot each time.

I am running the game as a standalone, that is not via steam. Game was starting fine each time before installing steam. Whether steam is running or not does not make a difference now to the problem.

Had fullscreen on and resolution set to the native resolution of my monitor in the games config. Can't find the config anymore now.

Had an old survarium steam folder on my drive from when i had steam installed in the past. Deleted it now. Did not help.

Any Ideas? What could i do next?

Is it harmful in any way to reboot a few times each day?

Contact Survarium Support regarding your issue.
What you are doing is not a reboot, but resetting your system, which can cause issues.

So i am better off not playing the game anymore until the issue is fixed right?!
Which issues could arise from resetting too often?

It's not the amount that's the issue, it's the reset in itself. It could lead to loss or corruption of data when the system is in the process of writing the data when the reset occurs.

Just like someone writing a letter and halfway you take the paper away.
