Is there a way that a GPU with pixel and Vertex shaders 2.0 can play 3.0 games?
About a week ago I built my first PC from a few old ones nobody was using in the garage, coming from Console, it's great, but I can't any recent games beacuse my graphics card Pixel and vertex shader(s) are 2.0

My specs:
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3.00 GHz (X2)
Motherboard: 775VM800
Graphics card: ATI Radeon 9550 ( VRAM: 384MB, Pixel and Vertex shader verstion: 2.0)
RAM: 2.00 GB
DirectX: 11 (Can't install 9 for some reason)
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit (Activated)

How well I can run some games, when no other programs are running:

Witcher 2: No
TES 4 Oblivion: Yes, with no mods: 30+fps

Hitman Contracts: Yes, 40+fps
Hitman Blood money: (Shader 1:no) Shader 2 30ish fps

Total war rome: At least 50 fps
Medieval 2 Total War: 30+fps

Battlefield 2 (Revive): Yes, but can't play online (not sure why, it could be direct x)
Star Wars Republic commando: 50+fps

Rainbow Six Raven's shield: yes, 40+fps
Crysis 1: 15-35fps

ArmA 2: No (Vertex and pixel shader too low/old)
TF2: Really laggy(in match), (seems it has a bit of trouble with the source engine)

(pretty crap, I know, but it's all I had to work with)
Thanks for reading, if I missed anything, let me know :)

No. It quite simply lacks the ability to use anything higher.
