Whats the point of the report review button?

If it does nothing? Every damn day I see some meme or irrelevant bs posted as a review with tons of upvotes and never do they get taken down. Does Steam actually do anything? I've yet to see any action taken against these "reviews". They just clog up the Steam page when someones trying to look for something useful.

If these reviews have "tons of upvotes" vs your lonesome report, don't expect any action to be taken. Stupidity is not against the rules and usefulness is subjective.

How is a review that doesn't mention anything about the game useful? There's no way you can tell me its subjective. If someone posts a silly meme instead of a review, it should be taken down and I doubt I'm the only one reporting. Never see or hear any reviews being taken down, like ever except for ones that devs post trying to boost their game.

Somewhat, yes. I reviewed the product by saying I don't like the genre. Barebones but still a review.
