I GOT GIVEAWAY CD KEY AND USED IT

Hello I took part in giveaway and won the game. I was very excited and used the cdkey of the game and without realizing it I turned on the cd key. I have not yet played the game but I turned on the code and it got into my steam already then I have a question Can I return the cdkey? please help

I'm thinking there's some issue with the translation, since it seems contradicting you'd want to undo the CD-key redemption after you were supposedly excited having won said giveaway.

You're using "Code" and "CD key" as two separate terms,what do you mean?
Anyway, the CD key, license code or whatever you want to call it can't be unredeemed.

Apparently he wanted to give the key to someone else, but instead used it on his own account.

So, that's life. Move on. The game is on your account now, and won't go away. That's one of the core elements of Steam's business model -- "no used games". Support will not do anything about that.
