Yes, the site is legit, it's been going as long as I've been using the internet and I remember 16k modems.
Bad idea. Never download DLL files from third-party sources.
Fair enough, if you are cocerned, search System32 for your own copy of MSCVR120.dll and copy that to the application's install directory.
As long as you have VC++ 2013 installed like ReBoot suggested, then the problem is probably just that the application is looking in the wrong place.
This 2010 version is the only one I could find on the official site.
Pick the one with the right language.
