Steam won't open.
So, since yesterday my steam simply stopped working for absolutely no reason. Everytime I click on its icon it doesnt open, simple as that. The cursor changes to the loading one for less than 1 sec and then it goes back to the regular cursor, like the app has already loaded, if that helps.

1. I have already reinstalled it 5 times and the problem continues.
2. No, it's not open on the task manager.
3. I have already tried to run steam as an administrator.
4. Already tried to run the application on the task manager.
5. My folder only contains bin, public, Steam.exe and uninstall.exe. The bin folder contains SteamService.exe, and the public folder contains the bootstrappers.

Any sugestions?

FIX:
No_OneHere recommended me to reinstall windows, but to do that I had to have an external hard drive to save my files and this is like... expensive as ♥♥♥♥. So I ended up installing the software called Windows Repair, which changed the system settings to defaults and reinstalled damaged files, so my steam, among other softwares ended up working again.
I highly recommend that those who are having a similar problem make use of it.

Ye, I disabled firewall, checked the softwares that may interfere with steam, uninstalled them, disabled avast, and still steam wont open.
btw I checked the task manager and there's like.. a lot of processes called WerFault.exe opening after every few seconds.

I'm pretty sure that's the problem, but it's impossible to totally close it cause it keeps opening. When I try to delete the exe file in its folder, it says that I need TrustedInstaller's permission to do that.

WerFault.exe is either the Windows Problem Manager running wild or more likely Malware that tries to disguise itself as a Microsoft program.

https://www.malwarebytes.com/ run the free version, but I would recommend to backup your files and do a fresh install of Windows at this point. It is faster than any other solution might be, it is safe and Windows can do it on its own. Make sure to choose the reinstall version that deletes all data.
I will try using this software, but my computer is all ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up so i think the best solution really is to reinstall Windows lol, thx again for the help dude

*crossing fingers* After Windows is freshly installed don't forget to check if you have the newest drivers and if all Windows updates are completely done before installing Steam again. :steamhappy:
will check!
