Advice needed please...The witcher 3 and all dlcs not installing correctly...
Hey, I need some help figuring out what I should do to fix the issue I'm having.
Ive payed for The witcher 3: wild hunt with all dlc's and have downdloaded the game from steam but when I go to start the game in my library it starts by checking for update's and then I get this error...

An error occurred while updating the witcher 3: wild hunt (missing executable)
C:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\the witcher 3\bin\x64\witcher3.exe

I have cleared download cache, verify local files, restarted pc, deleted game and reinstalled
so thats now twice ive downloaded 49gb worth of game. All of this has no issues and completed as per steam support troubleshooting.

I checked the above location on my pc and found there is no bin file.

Any addvice would be helpful.

Thanks

What are your system specs? Especially the Operating System, is it 32 or 64Bit?

i7 7700, gtx 1080, 16ram. System type does say 32bit, x64 based processor.
That would be a problem?

Yes, in multiple ways.
1. The minimum requirements of Witcher 3:
Minimum:
OS: 64-bit Windows 7, 64-bit Windows 8 (8.1) or 64-bit Windows 10
Processor: Intel CPU Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz / AMD CPU Phenom II X4 940
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GPU GeForce GTX 660 / AMD GPU Radeon HD 7870
Storage: 35 GB available space
The game requires a 64Bit Windows.

2. 32Bit Windows can only manage up to 4GB RAM in total. Including your videocard.
A GTX 1080 already has more than 4GB RAM and your 16GB system RAM are way too much as well.

GTX 1080 = 8GB RAM
System, 16GB RAM

24GB total, 20GB of that are not usable due to your 32Bit Windows.

Install a 64Bit Windows and your issues will disappear and the system should run a lot faster and smoother.

Might as well move the whole Steam -folder.

Just copy the whole Steam folder. After you installed the 64Bit Windows you can move it back and just run Steam and your games.
With a few games you may need to verify the game files first.
Some games use the Steam CEG copy protection so the game may crash on start. In that case, verify the files and you will encounter a really small download after that.
