Low FPS and crackling sound - all games unplayable
I'm hoping someone can help me because I've been trying to solve this issue for about a month now to no avail. All my games were playing just fine, but then out of nowhere they started lagging like crazy to the point I can't even play them. I was able to play for hours straight but now, the game lasts a max 5 seconds before freezing up.

The only real change was the Creator's Update, but and I thought it was just because my computer was trying to download it, but now that it's fully installed, everything is still useless. Any ideas of what the issue could be or how I could fix it?

I'm running Windows 10 on a Dell Inspiron 3558.

I've had the same problem as you for about a week, just fixed it tonight, turns out the problem was with my audio drivers, not my graphics drivers. You should be able to find yours Here [www.dell.com]
