How do i stay Online?

A while ago i had a bit of a preoblem with an annoying "Freind" who kept trying to talk to me EVERY SINGLE DAY about..well, stuff i could care less about most of the time. so i set myself to appear offline to try and stem the tide of annoying questions and conversations. Me myself i like to chat every once and a while, but not EVERY DAY. it gets old real quick. i just wan't to be left alone with my games most of the time.

Now heres my problem. i mouse over the Friends button and click on Appear Online. But when i log off and later log back in its set to appear Offline again. so i have to set myself to appear Online again, every single time i log in. how do i set it so i Appear online and it stays online?.

You should let him know instead of leaving him to dry
